Think Tank

Dear Chastitycall Friends,

In this section of the Chastitycall Website, we will be seeking your ideas, experiences and advice to our viewers.

Our first Think Tank exercise is to develop a list of good movies that you will review and comment on for our viewers. These movies are to be the type that you can watch together adult and teen or preteen. They should tell of a love story or a romantic story. The purpose of this exercise is to identify movies that we can view together and comment upon as to what is going on between the male and female characters with respect to the story.

Are the characters believable?

Do we agree with their decisions about the relationships they are having?

Does the women act like a real woman?

Does the man act like a real man?

What is a real woman ... a real man?

What would God think of this relationship shown in the movie?

Many questions can be added to this list, but the idea is "What movies can we rent in the video store that we can watch together and get a good, healthy discussion going between parents and their children about love, sex, romance, values on how to pick a marriage partner, etc.?"

Two movies come to my mind are:

1. Sense and Sensibility
2. A Walk in the Clouds

Can you add to our list? We would love to hear from you. Please let us know if you watched these films together with your children and give us an idea how the conversation went. We can learn from each other in this THINK TANK.

God bless you and always remember, "Let all that you do be done with love." Cor. 16:14.
